One sunny morning, a cheerful robin sang with joy. But winter was coming... Can singing warm the coldest days?
🕊️ The Little Robin and the Sleepy Turtle
On a bright morning, a little red robin flew to a tree in a kind man's garden. He folded his wings and sang happily. He forgot that winter was near and food would be hard to find.
Suddenly, a grumpy voice came from below. It was a sleepy turtle named Toby. He peeked out from his hole and said:
"I wish you'd stop singing. Winter is coming. You’ll be hungry while I sleep safely."
Without saying goodbye, Toby went back to sleep. The robin, named Ruby, flew away sadly and couldn’t sing anymore that day.
Next morning, Ruby sang again. She found only a few berries. Days passed, and snow covered the ground. Ruby had no food.
Still, she sang and said:
"I’ll sing to stay happy. I’ll find food soon. If not, I’ll sing another song."
It was Christmas Eve. Ruby saw red berries on a wreath inside the house. She tried to fly in! The children saw her and gave her crumbs.
Ruby ate gently and sang with thanks every day. When spring came, she flew back to the tree and sang loudly. Toby woke up and said:
"You survived! I didn’t think you would."
But he forgot to say thank you.
