Barnaby Takes Care of His Mom
The little rabbit, Barnaby, woke up early, feeling energetic and full of life. He started his day with some light exercises, hopping happily in place. After that, he went to the kitchen, expecting to find his mother preparing a delicious breakfast as she always did, but the kitchen was empty.
Barnaby felt worried, and then he heard a faint moaning sound coming from his mother's bedroom. He entered the room quietly to find his mother lying in her bed, shivering, her face pale and tired. He placed his little paw on her forehead and found that she had a very high fever.
Barnaby was confused for a moment, not knowing what to do. But then he remembered how his mother would take care of him when he was sick. Suddenly, a brilliant idea came to him! He rushed to the kitchen and brought back a bowl of cool water and some clean cloths.
He returned to his mother's room, dipped a cloth in the water, squeezed it out, and gently placed it on his mother's head. He whispered to her, "Don't worry, Mom, I'm here by your side, and you're going to be okay."
Barnaby stayed by her bedside, changing the cloth whenever it got warm and praying in his heart for his mother to get well soon. He forgot about playing and breakfast; his only concern was his mother's comfort.
After a long effort and loving care, his mother's fever began to go down. She opened her eyes and smiled weakly at her brave little one. She said in a tired voice, "Thank you, Barnaby. You took good care of me." Barnaby made sure her temperature was back to normal, then hugged her tightly and said, "I love you, Mom."
Barnaby learned that day that love is not just words, but actions and care, and that helping our mothers and praying for their recovery is the least we can offer them.
