Peter Rabbit's Great Escape from Mr. McGregor's Garden

Do you love adventures? Let's read the story of a little rabbit named Peter who didn't listen to his mother and got into very big trouble. It's a classic tale about mischief, consequences, and the safety of home.

📝 Peter Rabbit's Great Escape from Mr. McGregor's Garden

Once upon a time, four little rabbits lived with their mother under the root of a big fir-tree.

One morning, their mother said, "You may play in the fields, but don't ever go into Mr. McGregor's garden!" His three siblings were good little bunnies, but Peter was very naughty. He ran straight to the forbidden garden and squeezed under the gate!

At first, he was thrilled. He ate crunchy lettuce, fresh beans, and then some red radishes.

But just as he was looking for some parsley, who did he meet face-to-face? Mr. McGregor! "Stop, thief!" the man shouted, and ran after Peter, waving a rake.

Peter was terrified and rushed all over the garden, forgetting the way back.

He lost his little shoes and his new blue jacket got caught on a net. Finally, he hid inside a watering can full of cold water. But Mr. McGregor was looking for him, and suddenly Peter sneezed—'Kertyschoo!' He jumped out of a window and escaped just in time.
After being lost and crying, he saw Mr. McGregor from far away with his back turned, and right behind him was the gate! Peter ran as fast as he could, slipped under the gate, and didn't stop until he was home. He was tired, wet, and had lost his clothes. That evening, he only had camomile tea, while his obedient siblings enjoyed bread, milk, and delicious blackberries.
