Angry Snake

🐍 Angry Snake

A carpenter closed his workshop and went home for the night. While he was gone, a poisonous snake entered the workshop, hungry and searching for food.

It slithered from one corner to another, hoping to find something to eat. Eventually, it bumped into a sharp axe and got slightly injured.

Out of anger and revenge, the snake bit the axe with full force. But what could a snake’s bite do to a metallic blade?

Instead, the snake’s mouth began to bleed.

Furious and arrogant, the snake wrapped itself around the axe, trying to strangle and crush it — the object that had caused it pain.

The next morning, the carpenter returned and found the snake dead, wrapped around the blade of the axe.

Angry Snake

The snake didn’t die because of someone else’s actions. It died because of its own uncontrolled anger and wrath.

Sometimes, in anger, we try to hurt others. But in the end, we often hurt ourselves more.

It’s not always necessary to react. Step back and ask yourself: Is this really worth responding to?

🌱 Life Lessons:

  • Uncontrolled anger can lead to self-harm.
  • Not every pain requires retaliation.
  • Wisdom lies in knowing when to respond and when to let go.
  • Revenge often hurts the one who seeks it more than the target.
